Either works. Many clients order wallpaper themselves and we install it; others ask us to source materials through our trade accounts, which often unlocks designer lines and better pricing. We always confirm the exact quantity before you order so you never over-buy or run short mid-wall.
A single accent wall usually takes half a day. A full room runs one to two days depending on wall prep and pattern complexity. Larger commercial jobs are scheduled in phases, and we give you a written timeline with your estimate so you know what to expect from day one.
Yes. Freddy’s Wallpaper Wonderland is fully licensed, bonded, and insured for both residential and commercial work in California. Certificates of insurance are available on request for HOAs, property managers, and general contractors before we set foot on site.
Yes, removal is one of our core services. We strip the old paper, wash off adhesive residue, repair damaged drywall or plaster, and prime with the correct sealer. Skipping proper removal is the number-one cause of failed installations, so we never paper over problem walls.
Most single accent walls fall in the few-hundred-dollar range, while full rooms and specialty materials like grasscloth or murals cost more due to the prep and precision required. Every project gets a free, itemized quote — send us your wall measurements and a photo, and we will price it within one business day.
We hang everything: traditional pasted paper, non-woven, peel-and-stick, vinyl, Type II commercial wallcovering, grasscloth, silk and fabric, digital murals, and specialty metallics. Each material has its own adhesive and handling requirements, and we match the method to the product.
Yes. We regularly serve Granite Bay, El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Roseville, Elk Grove, and surrounding communities within about 45 minutes of Sacramento. For larger commercial projects we travel further — just ask when you request your quote.
Fill out the short form on our contact page or call (916) 471-2414. Tell us the room, approximate wall sizes, and the wallpaper you have in mind — photos help. We respond within one business day with a clear, no-obligation estimate.
Usually not well. Most Sacramento-area homes built after the 1980s have orange-peel or knockdown texture, and peel-and-stick adhesive only grips the high points, so edges lift within weeks. We’ll tell you honestly whether your walls need skim-coating first, or whether a traditional non-woven paper would perform better for the same budget.
Yes. Wall prep is included in the scope of every quote: filling holes, sanding ridges, skim-coating textured or damaged areas, and priming with wallcovering-specific primer. Older plaster homes in East Sacramento, Land Park, and Curtis Park often need extra prep, and we price that transparently after seeing photos or the wall itself.
Residential projects typically book one to three weeks out, longer during spring and the pre-holiday rush. Commercial work is scheduled around your construction timeline — the earlier we see the finish schedule, the better we can hold crew dates. Quotes are always free, so it costs nothing to get on the calendar early.
Wallpaper is our specialty and our focus. After a removal job we’ll leave your walls smooth, primed, and ready for paint, but for the painting itself we’re happy to recommend trusted local painters we regularly share projects with.
Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed: if a seam lifts, a corner peels, or a bubble appears because of the installation, we come back and make it right at no charge. Material defects are covered by the manufacturer, and we help you document any claim.
